Trent and I went to the doctor this morning. We started with my blood pressure, and again it was high. It was 152 over 102. We then did a growth ultrasound to check to see how big Brantley is incase we had to take him today. Brantley is 7 pounds +/- 6 ounces. We then discussed that I am 1 cm dilated. Then Dr. Hermann told us all of our options for delivery, and Trent and I have to decide if we want to try to induce or have a scheduled c-section.
Trent and I then went to the hospital for my weekly non-stress test, blood work up and urine sample. The non-stress test went well, and all the blood work came back normal. There was protein in my urine for the first time, but not enough to take Brantley today. So, instead we have to be at the hospital at 12:30 in the morning Thursday (Wednesday night). I will be a Mommy to an outside baby on Thursday, January 26th.
We are SOOOOO nervous and excited at the same time. This is our last weekend with no children (except our furry children.)
Please, Please, Please pray that we can be induced instead of a c-section, but I will do whatever it takes to get Brantley here safe and sound. Also, pray for us as we adjust to being new parents. I know this will be a challenging, but rewarding journey.
