Well, bed rest is nice and boring. Once a week I get to get out to go to the doctor and the hospital. That seems to be every Thursday. So, today was the day to go to the doctor. When I got to the doctor my blood pressure was 157 over 100. Which is NOT good at all. The doctor then collected different samples from me for some testing. Then it was time for another ultrasound. I had no clue we were doing an ultrasound today and that was a nice surprise. We did some test on Brantley during the ultrasound. He had to pass 5 sections, and he passed all of them. One of the test was fine motor and Brantley had to move his toes or fingers; he almost failed it because we couldn't get him to move. He finally moved, and Brantley passed all of the test! Dr. Hermann was concerned with how high my blood pressure was, and was worried that I might have to stay at the hospital. He warned me if it didn't go down during my stress test then I would have to stay.
So, I called Trent on the way to the hospital, and gave him the heads up. When the nurse got me hooked up to the monitors and took my blood pressure it was GREAT.... 123 over 88. It kept going down, and after an hour they sent me home to continue on bed rest. I am so happy to be on bed rest at home instead of in the hospital. So, I will continue resting at home and keep Brantley cooking as long as possible.
