Well, it has been 4 months since Brantley came into the world! He is so amazing! Today was one of the days I always dread....checkup/shot day! Brantley started out the appointment so happy. He was playing with me, and the nurse came in and he was flirting with her. Then Dr. Rue came in to talk to me and look at Brantley. She said everything looks good. He weighs 13 pounds and 5.5 ounces, he is 25 inches long, and his head is 16 inches. He is in the 20th percentile for weight, 55th percentile for height, and 50th percentile for head size. Dr. Rue said he is very strong, and couldn't believe how well he stands, and the way that he can almost stand all by himself already. We talked about sunscreen and bug spray. She wants me to use Avon Skin So Soft. I am not sure where I can buy that since I don't know an Avon lady. Brantley's eczema is worse, and has spread to his tummy so we have to use a lotion on him daily now. His ears and throat look good, but his gums were swollen.
Shots were no fun, are they ever though? He did better this time, and just barely cried. He loves to cuddle on shot day so that is the plus because I love cuddle time with my favorite little guy!
He is such a happy baby, but teething is kicking his butt. It upsets him so much. I don't like how big he is getting, but I love how much fun Brantley is. He is laughing all the time, and I can't decide if I want to laugh with him or cry. I usually just laugh with him, but I get teary eyed because he is growing so fast!
